Ponto de partida: Inn The Park
Tinha vários animais passeando por lá, me senti a Beatrix Potter.

The second trip (late, sorry), which like the first mixes a little of quietness of London’s parks and excitement of city life. It’s perfect for a weekend Saturday or Sunday. I made this path two Sundays ago, and it was very nice!
Starting point: The Park Inn
My suggestion is to start with a breakfast at the Inn The Park, located at St. James Park, close to Buckingham Palace. You can choose from two service options: the traditional, with a menu and they serve you at the table, and take way. I “chose” the second option because I arrived too late, and they were no longer serving option 1 and I enjoyed the food sitting under a tree in front of the lake. There were had several animals walking around, I felt like Beatrix Potter.
Leaving there, a 20 minute walk, past the National Gallery, takes you to 8 Earlham Street. Magma! It is a bookshop that charmed me and made me pay for excess baggage! They are specialized in art books, design, fashion, photography, cinema, architecture and advertising, it’s amazing. But do not expect to find mountains of books and magazines, there is only the best, highest ranking of the moment. They define themselves as the thermometer of the field, and they are … At number 16 of the same street, they have another store, with products of stationery and home decor, which is also pretty cool!
After this overdose of colorful and interesting books, another 10 minutes walk will take you to the Fortnun & Mason. (On the way you pass through Piccadilly Circus, and can enjoy and exercise the tourist in you)). The Fortnun, as I told you here, was my discovery of this trip, and I was blown away by this place .. I kept wondering about Queen Elisabeth delighting herself with the teas and biscuits!
If you like to walk, food, spices, and loves to check ‘em up close, you will “lose” a lot of time in there and this could be the end of your tour. If this is not your case, a good idea is to walk a few steps, and get to the Burlington Arcade.
It exists since 1819 and was born with the intention of selling jewelry, fashion items and luxury to customers at the time. The idea worked and was a kind of prototype of success for the creation of other arches, like Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan. Inside you will find branded goods famous worldwide and others not well known to the general public, but the quality and origin are unquestionable. There is also a Laduree, to sweeten your life!
